GreenRiver siriServer uses GoogleSpeechAPI which takes input as the speech packets from the recorded by siriClients of your voice and then converts it to the speex codec and sends it to google for processing. After processing google sends what you said in plain text, the server relays the information back to siri on your iDevice.
