iPhone 5 Enters Production, Set For Summer Launch

by jbwire on January 25, 2012

According to the latest report by 9to5mac, a reliable source from Foxxcon in china has confirmed that iPhone 5 production is geared for summer launch of the device. Unlike last year, the next gen iPhone will be coming in summer at the time of WWDC.

If we look back at the iPhone 4S, the production of iPhone 4S didn’t begin until late Spring last year. But this time it seems that Apple has come back to its launch for Summer/WWDC pattern.

However, the report does not reveal any new feature or design changes in the model. Since there are already many rumors and sample models circulating around the web of the upcoming iPhone 5, they all have atleast some features in common like wider 4-inch screen, A6 processor, 4G LTE, longer battery life and much more.

The reports also claim that the source has also disclosed correct information last year of iPhone 4S not being going to production in summer.  If they are correct this time also, then iPhone 5 will be launching in summer itself.
