After successfully jailbreaking iOS 5.1 untethered on iPad 3 and iPhone 4 by pod2g, it time for a demo video showing his great achievement. Yes, Pod2g has just posted a teaser video showing the untethered jailbroken iPad 3 running cydia 1.1.6 on iOS 5.1.
The video clearly shows the iPad 3 running iOS 5.1 boots without being connected to the computer, proving the jailbreak to be untethered. Following that it opens popular cydia apps like iFile app and iBooks store.
Additionally, pod2g has confirmed that his untethered jailbreak will support iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad 1G, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G and iPod touch 3G but will not be supporting Apple TV3 (ATV 3).
As per the latest status of the jailbreak, pod2g is now working on to test untether iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak and on stabilizing the payload. Though, no ETA is net yet released by pod2g for the final public release but the delay will definitely be for good as there are high chances of getting untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1 also with the same exploit.
