Last year, Saurik (Cydia owner and creator) has pushed an “Dickbar” (aka “Twitter Quick Bar”)on April Fool’s day as a prank. Some people were annoyed with this Dickbar in the changes Tab. However, the code for the dickbar was still present and that checked April 1st date. O, this year also it will continue to occur today. Saurik has released the cydia v1.1.6 that removes this code and also the dickbar prank.
Those users who want to have fun with this scrolling ad-like banner (dicker) may skip this new upgraded cydia version. But if you want to get rid of this prank, you can update to cydia v1.1.6 now. However, if you don’t upgrade, the dickbar will vanish from next day.
