GEVEY™ Ultra S now unlocks the CDMA iPhone 4S on iOS 5.0.1 / 5.0. As reported earlier, SIM Interposer GEVEY Ultra S supported only unlock for GSM iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1 / 5.0, but now the company ApplenBerry behind GEVEY sim has released support to unlock the CDMA iPhone 4S also, which includes Verizon and Sprint iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S must be having 1.0.11, 1.0.13 or 1.0.14 basebands to be unlocked by GEVEY Ultra S.
However, there are other SIM interposers including TP-SIM unlock and R-SIM unlock that provides the same solution on GSM networks but GEVEY Ultra S is the only one to unlock the CDMA models of iPhone 4S. However, for GSM iPhone 4S unlock, you don’t require a jailbroken iPhone 4S but to unlock the CDMA iPhone 4S version you need to have the device jailbroken with any of these 1.0.11, 1.0.13 or 1.0.14 basebands.

GEVEY Ultra S does not require the international emergency number 112 to be dialed. iOS 5.1 unlock is not yet supported by GEVEY Ultra S, so if you have upgraded to the latest iOS 5.1 then DON’T use GEVEY now. If you are a new to unlocking, GEVEY Ultra S is a SIM interposer, which unlocks the iPhone 4S on any carrier. It includes a package with SIM along with a SIM tray.
