VoiceUtils: Adds Custom Commands to Siri on iPhone 4S [Jailbreak Tweak]

If you have jailbroken your iPhone 4S to access Cydia, you can now enhance your Siri Voice assistance with the first iPhone 4S tweak named VoiceUtils available in Cydia. VoiceUtils adds new custom commands for Siri. Check the video of the tweak after a break!

Developed by iOS developer and hacker Nick Frey, VoiceUtils enables to reboot the device; turn it off, restart and get into safe mode with the Siri voice commands. The tweak is a Mobile Substrate tweak and once installed there is no settings are available, and no icon is added to the home screen. Simply install, respring, and use the commands.

VoiceUtils Adds the following custom commands to Siri :

  • reboot
  • power off
  • Restart SpringBoard
  • enter Safe Mode


VoiceUtils is available for free to download on Cydia through the repository of BigBoss. Hopefully, Nick will soon be adding more commands to the tweak to enhance the Siri voice app.
