Before pod2g releases an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1, another hacker @legerov has released another iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak for A4 devices using vulndisco mobile 1.7. For jailbreaking your device you will require to purchase VulnDisco Mobile. The hacker has also released an official video in proof of his untether jailbreak on iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 4.
InteVyDis jailbreak first uses the redsn0w to tether jailbreak the device then using redsn0w is used to install a custom bundle. The video shows the iPhone 4 jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1 using this software. iPad 2, iPhone 4S and iPad 3 users cannot use VulnDisco to untether their device. Hacker i0n1c has also mentioned the jailbreak and seems to be legit.

Here is what the hacker has detailed about the jailbreak process.
It is a simple demo of vd_ios_untether_5_1_1 module by InteVyDis (http://intevydis.com/vulndisco_mobile.shtml). The module builds a bundle you have to install on the device with the help of redsn0w tool. Finally the device will be jailbroken and you’ll get remote CANVAS shell.
However, the dream team will also be releasing the iOS 5.1.1 untether jailbreak by Friday which will be free, but if you have already lost your patience, then you can go ahead and try this to untether your device. As we have yet not tested this method, so please proceed on your own risk.
[Update 1]: The hackers behind this utility have updated that they are working on A5 devices to untether jailbreak. Stay tuned and connect to us on @Jailbreakwire, Facebook Fanpage and Google+ network for automatic instant updates.
